Update: The Girl Who Dumped the Guy with Super Bowl Tickets Says She Only Met Him Once

On Monday, we told you about a guy who's giving away Super Bowl tickets because his girlfriend DUMPED him when he got cancer. But the girl denies the whole story. She says she only met him once, he was creepy, and they never dated. Now the guy says he was talking about ANOTHER girl.

On Monday, we told you about the WORST GIRLFRIEND EVER: A guy named Jason Elia bought two Super Bowl tickets so he could propose to his girlfriend at the game . . . but she DUMPED him after he was diagnosed with bladder cancer.

--Then he decided to give the tickets away . . . only SHE still wanted them. Or DID SHE? Jason told one radio show his girlfriend was named Sokhon Sen. The British paper "The Daily Mail" tracked her down . . . and she denied the whole story.

--And we mean the WHOLE story: There was no Super Bowl ticket offer, no dumping him after cancer, she wasn't Jason's girlfriend, and she only MET him ONCE.

--She said, quote, "I wouldn't call Jason someone I dated. More like some creepy person now that I met once in my whole life."

--Jason stands by his story about getting dumped due to cancer. But he said Sokhon was NOT the ex-girlfriend who dumped him. Although he DIDN'T explain why he said she was in the first place.

--Jason also changed the rules to his ticket giveaway at the last minute: Instead of giving them to the person who got him the most Twitter followers, he supposedly gave the tickets to a father and a sick kid who sent him an email.

SOUTHAVEN, Miss. — Receipts show Southaven Mayor Greg Davis, a Republican who ran for Congress in 2008 on a family-values platform, charged the city for a purchase at a gay sex shop in Canada. The Mississippi auditor demanded Davis pay back more than $170,000 for personal expenses billed to taxpayers. Including $67 for the sex toy. Portland. Ore.- Police arrested a man who allegedly assaulted three people with a blue light saber at a Hayden Island Toys R Us. A 9-1-1 caller said the man was inside the store, swinging the "Star Wars" weapon of choice at customers. While the caller was on the phone, the man then left the store — light saber in hand — and walked out to the parking lot. Officers tried to arrest the man, but he kept swinging the light saber at them, Simpson said. One tried to use his Taser on the suspect but the device didn't work. Another officer used his Taser and made contact, but the man knocked one of the wires away with the light saber. The officers finally arrested the man after grabbing him and pinning him to the ground. He faces "several criminal charges" after he is evaluated, Officers said. Read more HERE

Jonathan Paul Utecht, 22, was recently charged by the Washington County Attorney's Office with second-degree burglary, terroristic threats and animal torture, all felonies. When officers and the woman arrived at her apartment they found Utecht standing outside the apartment. His hands were bloody and he warned the woman that she "did not want to go inside the apartment and see what he had done." Officers found the phrase "I will kill you" written in black marker in large letters. The phrase "I love you" was written on the kitchen floor in blood. A dead snake was lying by the words written in its blood with a knife sticking out of its midsection. The man told the officers he was very upset over a recent breakup with the woman. The two had been dating on and off for the past year. He said he killed the snake because he knew his ex-girlfriend loved it. The woman also reported several items were missing from her apartment, including video games, a garbage can and a George Foreman Grill. The man admitted he stole the items and brought them to his bedroom at his parents' home. Read more HERE

A 25-year-old man landed in jail for stealing $ 3,200 diamond ring, after his girlfriend posted a picture of the 'engagement' ring on social networking site Facebook. Police in Burlington arrested Ryan Jarvis after he proposed to his fiancee, allegedly with a stolen diamond ring. The arrest was made after the cops received a tip off following a Facebook posting by Jarvis' girlfriend. The man was charged with stealing a white gold solitaire ring worth $3,200 which he took off with from a jewelery store where he was looking at jewelery for about an hour. Officers said that Jarvis proposed to his girlfriend, who shared the news on Facebook, included a picture of the ring. This prompted some of her friends call police, as they realized it matched the stolen ring they'd seen on the news. Burlington Police say Jarvis' girlfriend was wearing the stolen ring when they came question the couple. The first step to recovery is to admit you have a problem. You don't have to bring physical evidence. A "very intoxicated" man who was carrying a beer crashed an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting in Cincinnati, Ohio and refused to leave, according to court documents. Darrin Porter, 45, showed up drunk at the 12 Step House at 12:15 a.m. and wandered the hallways, interrupting a meeting according to the Cincinnati Enquirer.
Employees escorted Porter out of the facility, but he allegedly returned. When police arrived, the suspect declined to answer officers' questions and demanded to know their names and social security numbers. Police claim they detected a "strong odor" of alcohol on the suspect's breath and took him into custody. Read more HERE

BROOKVILLE, Pa. — Authorities in northwestern Pennsylvania say a man published an obituary for his living mother in a ploy to get paid bereavement time off from work.
Relatives called The Jeffersonian Democrat newspaper in Brookville after the obit appeared to report the woman was actually alive and well. The woman herself then visited the paper. Brookville police charged 45-year-old Scott Bennett on Tuesday with disorderly conduct. A robber held up an Indianapolis, Ind. bank armed with a glue gun, police allege.
Believing the glue gun was a real firearm, tellers handed over an unspecified amount of cash and the perp fled.
But the bank robber's plan came unglued rather quickly, according to authorities.
Using footage from surveillance cameras, investigators with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department and the FBI Safe Streets Task Force identified the suspect as Aaron Randolph and took him into custody, WISH TV reports.

A Pennsylvania man has become a case study in what not to say to cops. Devonte Davon Jeter was arrested for marijuana possession in May, and in a preliminary hearing yesterday, his lawyer made the case that the pot could have belonged to someone else in his car, the Beaver County Times reports. But it seems Jeter had already put a hole in that story: When the 19-year-old left custody in May, he "asked if he could have his weed back," an officer testified. "I don't know what else ‘Can I have my weed back' can mean, other than it's his," said a prosecutor. Last week, the American Farm Bureau Federation released their annual study on the cost of serving Thanksgiving dinner. And they found the average cost of a 10-person dinner, including turkey, lots of sides, and dessert, is $49.20. Not sure what grocery store they're shopping at because NO ONE here in the real world thinks they can host Thanksgiving that cheap. Spending $50 is such a ridiculous notion that Harris didn't even ask about that small of an amount.

In a new nationwide survey by Harris Interactive:
Seven out of 10 Americans will spend at LEAST $100 to host Thanksgiving.
60% of people plan to save money by using coupons
52% of people believe it will cost them between $100 and $250.
37% will shop at a warehouse store
34% will ask their guests to bring a dish.
31% of Americans who are hosting Thanksgiving think they'll spend under $100.
10% are planning to play a VERY dangerous game and wait until the last possible second to go shopping, hoping that stores will slash prices to empty out their inventory.

Chinese gaming company ZQGame announced plans today for an MMO game based on the upcoming film Total Recall. The film, set for release next year, is a remake of the 1990 movie and stars Colin Farrell as the guy Arnold Schwarzenegger played in original.

The game will be fully 3D and entirely browser based, with no need to download any software. ZQGame promises that the game will feature console quality graphics, and will also be free to play. According to the developer, the game will support itself with "micro-transactions containing a hybrid of features from traditional MMOs and social games, such as PVP and PVE environments and a collaborative "memory quest" system."

Harris Interactive just released the results of their annual survey that asks people: "If you could live in ANY state except the one you live in now, which state would you choose?" And, as always people flock to good weather. For the first time ever, HAWAII came in first place. But it's been in the top three every year since 2001. California came in second place, Florida came in third. In other words, America's three states with great weather are the top three. After that things get a little more centered around personal interests. Texas is fourth . . . Colorado is fifth . . . North Carolina is sixth . . . Oregon is seventh . . . Arizona is eighth . . . Washington is ninth . . . and Virginia is tenth. They didn't release which state got the fewest votes. The survey also asked people what city they'd most want to live in or near, other than the one they're in now. And people generally gravitated toward big cities rather than ones with good weather. New York City came in first and it's been in first place for the past 11 years. San Diego came in second . . . Seattle is third . . . Dallas is fourth . . . Las Vegas fifth . . . San Francisco sixth . . . Boston seventh . . . Chicago eighth . . . Honolulu ninth . . . and Denver tenth. When people were asked what city they'd LEAST want to live in . . . A cleaning woman accidentally ruined a million-dollar sculpture . . . because like most of us, she couldn't tell the difference between modern art and a mess. The Ostwall Museum in Dortmund, Germany had a modern-art display that included a $1.1 million sculpture by German artist Martin Kippenberger. The piece is called "When it Starts Dripping From the Ceiling", and it had a bunch of wooden slats over what appeared to be a dried puddle on the floor. A cleaning woman saw the stain on the floor, and thought the ceiling was leaking. So she got to work and completely scrubbed away the dried puddle. The cleaning staff had been warned to stay at least eight inches away from the artwork, so museum officials aren't sure how the misunderstanding occurred. The obvious solution would be to have Martin fix it. Unfortunately, he can't . . . because he DIED in 1997. The sculpture was on loan from a private collector. A Restaurant That Banned Children Under Six Has Seen a Big Jump in Business. Back in July, McDain's Restaurant and Golf Center in Monroeville, Pennsylvania got national attention when its owner, Mike Vuick, decided to BAN all children under age six from eating in the restaurant. In an email to his customers, he wrote, quote, "We feel that McDain's is not a place for young children. Their volume can't be controlled and many, many times, they have disturbed other customers." And yes, that's legal, restaurants can't ban people of different races or handicaps, because that's illegal. But the law doesn't protect children, so it's totally within the restaurant's right to refuse them service. And now, four months after McDain's started the ban, the local media checked in with them to see how things were doing. And it turns out . . . BUSINESS IS BOOMING. Vuick says that he's seen a massive 20% increase in business ever since he banned children. He also says he's gotten a lot of feedback on the policy but it's been 20-to-one in favor of the ban. The game is being held in Detroit, and the local fans do NOT want Nickelback to be there. In fact, there's an online petition making the rounds asking the band to be replaced, because the fans are apparently DISGUSTED by Nickelback. 1492 - While CHRISTOPHER COLUMBUS SLEPT aboard the "Santa Maria", Roderigo de Triano spotted the Bahamian Island of Guanahani from up in the crow's nest of the "Pinta". Columbus renamed the island San Salvador. The King and Queen of Spain had promised a reward to the first person that spotted land. Young Roderigo spotted the land, but Columbus collected the reward. He told Roderigo the "land" he saw was probably a cloud!

1892 - The original version of the "Pledge of Allegiance" was first recited in public schools, to celebrate the 400th anniversary of Columbus' landing. The "under God" line wasn't added until 1954.

2010 - Florencio Avalos was the first Chilean miner rescued from the Copiago mining accident. The miners were trapped underground for 69 days.
